Brief History:  
   
1955: Started as Harish Engineering Works, a patnership firm with a small workshop to manufacture Drying, Pneumatic Padder, Sizing Cylinders at Lower Parel, Mumbai.

1961: Shifted to Andheri in bigger premises. Added manufacturing Hydraulic Variable Speed Drives.

1965: Manufactured a prototype of the first 100% indigenous Hot Air Stenter, gained reputation as the only Indian company developing its own technology without any foreign help.

1967: Acquired a 36000 Mtr² plot at Umbergaon, Gujarat and shifted major manufacturing activity.

1970: Produced First Rotary Screen Printing Machine. Partnership firm converted to a Pvt. Ltd. Co in the name of Harish Textile Engineers Pvt. Ltd.

1972: Commenced production of Thermic Fluid Heater “Thermoset” for the Textile, Pharma, food and other industries.

1980: “JT-10” Super Jumbo Jiggers introduced in local and international market. Over the years JT-10 became a generic name.

Started production of Supra-5 Stenters with Flow-trough module.

1991: ITMA - Hannover.
