Textile machinery manufacture's association, Federation of Indian textile engineering industry, etc.

In its 50th year, Harish has certainly evolved a global player, which has spread its wings to span the world.

On 28th May 1955, a seeding of a new Enterprise took root at Mathuradas Mill Compound, Lower Parel. The work force comprised of just 5 people. It was christened Harish Engineering Works.

The first products were simple gear box. It was sheer hardwork and a commitment to excellence, that has taken Harish from strength to strength where it is today. In an era when textile machines were being imported, Harish was among the pioneers to indigenously manufacture vital textile processing machines like Stenters and Rotary screen printing machines.

The first export order was to Sri Lanka in 1970's. Today, machines manufactured by Harish process millions of metres of fabrics, in more than 30 countries.
